Chinese Art Deco Wool Rug 4x6

Hand-knotted in wool, this 4×6 rug by Rug Kilim is a new addition to their Chinese Art Deco rug line. On the Design: Admirers of the craft will appreciate a subtle refinement in the texture, detail, and adaptation of this look in a current high-end quality of this rug that enjoys a gold and beige/brown open field marrying floral patterns in colorful tones. The result is immersive, and nearly indistinguishable from antique Art Deco rugs, with an even more durable pile construction. Connoisseurs will admire it as a collectible among 1920s Chinoiserie masterpieces—exemplary of their size, maximalist style and the thick, durable pile that sits beautifully in any space today. Altogether it’s a piece as deeply personal in its subtext as it is in the details and beauties that distinguish it in our craft—an homage to a rich history of craft and culture.
